Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level.

By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

Before class: E-Learning

Day 1: Pool Day

Day 2: Open water dives 1-2 typically @ Blue Heron Bridge

Day 3: Open water dives 3-4 typically offshore @ Breakers Reefs

Academics:
The online academics you will do all your reading, videos and test online on your time before you meet with your instructor. NO REFUNDS ON DIGITAL KITS ASSIGNED TO YOU. ALL ONLINE ACADEMICS NEED TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE CLASS BEGINS. MEDICAL FITNESS QUESTIONNAIRE APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO ANY IN-WATER TRAINING.

Transportation:
Each student is responsible for his own transportation and transporting SCUBA gear to and from the pool, beach, and boats.

Weather:
The ocean can be unpredictable. Plan some extra time into your schedule in case of unsafe water conditions.
